prompt: someone is lying to you, do you confront them?

you’re lying through your teeth again

i can tell because you have this habit

where you become squeamish in your words

where you look down before looking up

where you lie to me

over time i got good at reading between the lines.

between the lines, that's where the truth sits

and the truth is expected to come out

when it bleeds from your teeth

into the words you say

onto my mouth

but, i’ll let you dig your own grave,

(thats about 6 feet deep, by 7 feet long, and 3 feet wide, by the way)

keep looking down,

and look up,

smile again

so i can see the truth

behind your paperthin promises
